In October 2009, the International Olympic Committee made the announcement that rugby would again be an Olympic sport in 2016 and 2020. The version that we will see in these Games is seven-a-side rugby (7’s). USA Rugby is committed to developing our nation's future Olympians through the introductory game of Rugby 7s

Doylestown Flag Rugby is a 7 a side non-contact flag form of rugby for girls and boys in K through 8th grades.  Skills including running, kicking, passing, space strategy, teamwork, and self-confidence will be developed. Flag rugby requires lots of energy and it teaches young athletes to think on their feet by playing a game that does not stop for time outs or breaks in play.

So Come and experience the excitement of flag rugby, no experience is necessary, just the desire to have fun

Divisions:

Grade PreK, K -1
Grade 2-3
Grade 4-5
Grade 6 & Up

The 7’s format of rugby provides for fast pace, non-stop action with opportunities for each player to carry the ball and score.  Players on the field are required to play both offense and defense with transitions occurring within a split second.  No huddles – no TV timeout – just the high pace action of 7 players working as one team for the common goal – score more points than the other team.

 Bring your friends.
